Distance Between Towns/outposts?? - Guild Wars Forums

In Prophecies I have been to all the towns and outposts and wondered if the distance in measured in kilometers. Anybody wanna take a gander at this?? This includes all locations in the main map and the Desert and Fire Island chain.

This was a while back so my memory might be off, but someone once calculated the dimensions by measuring out footsteps/strides and scaling it up. Turns out Elona is only 4 miles by 5 miles (6.5km by 8km). Doesn't turn out too well. I'll see if I can find the original source, though I'm not hoping for much.
